Carbon-Aware Charging Strategies for BSS

Proposed a novel carbon-aware scheduling framework for EV Battery Swapping Stations (BSS). Utilizing Transformer-based Online Learning for real-time carbon intensity forecasting and a Rolling Horizon MILP for optimization. Simulations using CAISO and Palo Alto real-world data demonstrated average carbon emission reductions ranging from 1.8% to 7.5% compared to immediate charging baselines.
